Meaning of Home

A home is not just a house, it’s a place where you can feel safe. At home you can feel safe and you are loved. At home you can be you and not be scared. It doesn't matter how it looks or the size it matters about the people inside of it. I sleep and feel safe in my warm bed. The colours of the walls or the roof doesn't make it special, it's the people inside of it and how it makes you feel. At home you can laugh, tell jokes and have lots of fun. Home is where I do everyday things, I eat meals with my family, play board games, watch TV and do my homework. These things make my home feel safe and loving. Home is important because it is where I grow, make mistakes and feel loved every day. That is what home means to me. By Marlee
