WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

Home is not just a place where you can sleep. The truth is way more than that. Everybody has that annoying sibling older or younger, but the truth is they never want to admit that if that sibling were suddenly GONE I know they’d be sad. I have an older brother that annoys me at home, but at school he’s totally different. Deep down inside I love him. Without him a piece of my day would be missing. My Mom is the real hero here though, she's the one that tells me whatever I'm doing wrong, the one who keeps me motivated, confident! Even when I get in trouble, I'm just grateful to have my family, grateful for my bed, my games, the tv. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love them. I love my family and the way it is, the way my mom corrects me, the way my brother annoys me. My worst fear is leaving them. The best thing about my mom is her cooking. I love her fried plantain. It tastes too good, if you tried it you'd say it too, especially because I want to be a chef when I grow up and work for some fancy restaurant. I hope I am as successful as my mom. My brother is getting ready to go into middle school so he’s getting older and more mature. So I hope I'm like both of them when I grow up, maybe like them both, but I'm the youngest so that’s how it’s gonna be. Aside from all that, I LOVE THEM. THE END !! BY IDRIS
