Home is Not Just a Place

Home is like a cozy warm place that I can go anytime and feel loved. It’s not just a place, it’s my home. It’s where my family and I create the best memories. In my kitchen there is this great smell of delicious food. My dad loves preparing for us his Ukrainian food. Holubtsi is my favorite dish that he makes. Holubtsi consists of cabbage leaves stuffed with meat and rice. It’s about the tales we tell during dinner that make it special. Our living room is like our Barnhouse, we play all sort of games, and we make lots of jokes and giggle. My bedroom is like my sanctuary I spend multiple hours in my bed with my blankets tucked in so tight. My sheets are like my little protectors from anything not wanted on me.
