The Meaning Of Home
What home means to me is comfort and family. At night, I kneel beside my bed and pray to God. He is my shield and my savior. Home means everything to me.
I live in a colony so we are all in one big family. We take care of each other and work together.
I love being with my family and being around the table laughing and playing cards or games together. After the game, we can drink hot chocolate with our family and spend time with our parents and pray with them before bed.
Another important thing about my home is my dog. She is a Shih Tzu and her name is Lexi. When I go to sleep, she snuggles with me. A good memory is when she got puppies.
I am glad that I live where I live. It's not fair that some children don’t have a home. They should grow up in a safe environment. I am glad that Habitat For Humanity is working in communities to build homes for people less fortunate. Everyone deserves a home.
I am grateful I have a good family and a cute dog. I really wish that people had a home like me, it is really terrible.
If I would have no home, and what if nobody cared about us I would be so sad. We would suffer a lot if we didn’t have a home. Having no home is really sad, so people with houses are lucky. People with homes at night have a warm bed to sleep in and people with no home have to sleep on the streets. That's why we are pretty lucky.
In closing, may God bless all the homeless people in the world and bless Habitat For Humanity.
