What home means to me.
What does home mean to me? To me, home means family, love, support but at the same time home also means friends, teachers, or people you admire. Even though family, love, and support are the base. Friends, teachers and people you admire can be the walls decorations and anything else you would need.
Family. I think that family is the base of the home. I think that because, no matter what, family will always be there for you. They will talk to you, feed you, and keep you company. Siblings as well if there's something you can't talk to your parents about or any other relative in general you can always count on them. Although they might be annoying at times somewhere in your heart you know you love them and they love you.
Love. Love can come from many different people, and there are many different kinds of love. There can be love from family, friends, a friendly rival. To me a friendly rival means a lot of things. My friendly rival is a girl named Lilly. If I try to imagine school without Lilly I would always feel as though something is missing. I would probably lose a big chunk of my motivation. I wouldn't push myself as hard as I do now if it wasn't for her.
Support. Support mostly comes from family. If family doesn't work you always have friends. Especially the ones you hold a deep connection to. They are always there for you any time you need. They know just what to say to make you feel a whole lot better. So thank you to all of my real friends. Thank you for never judging me and for always being there for me. There's a special place in my heart just for you.
I used to think home was just a pile of bricks.
But the truth is anything can be your home or anyone.
Thank you for always being my home.
