A place you feel safe

Home is a place where love laughter and memories are made. Home is a place I feel safe and loved. Home is not a place on a map. Home is a place where my loved ones are. Home, home a place where I feel safe where my roof top explodes with hugs and love bugs! Home is where my spirit shines bright. Home is where I learned to walk, bike, read and talk. When I wake up in the morning and the sunlight hits my face all my worries and doubts just float away. I smell the fresh ocean air; it hits my face and I feel so safe because I’m surrounded by my loved ones. Home is like a candle that never goes out! Home is a place where my beautiful family is every night. My cat sleeps with me. Even though she is a cat I sometimes feel like she understands me more than people. My cat is always there for me, and I am always there for her. In the winter, my fireplace is crackling and warm and my animals are curled up beside me while we watch a family movie or go on snowy walks in the woods. The sky is orange and bright and pink over the ocean and the mountains are full of snow. In the spring, flowers are everywhere, and the baby eagles are just being born. The mornings are brighter the evenings are lighter. Dinners outside and lots of bike rides. I love that my home is near the ocean, especially in Spring. Home is like a hug that never ends, a BIG, wonderful hug! Every day and night, every season and year, my home is my safe place. I love my home!
