Home

Home can mean something different to everyone, but to me home is where I grew up, make memories and where I spend time with family. When I think about what home is, I think about my most cherished memories. I think about growing up in North Sydney, where I learned to ride a bike, where I opened gifts on Christmas morning, where I learned to bake French toast with my Nan and where I took home my first pet cat Kazam. Home is wherever my family is. Groves Point Beach, where I learned to swim over my head feels like home because I go there a lot with my family in the summer. Jumping off Georges River bridge feels like home because it's something I do with my family. Even the farm feels like home because my family spends a lot of time there. That's where I rode my first horse and even learned to drive a tractor with my stepdad and it has the best hills for sledding. Home is special moments like carving pumpkins, playing basketball with my sister and even finding seaglass with my Poppy. Home isn't just the house that I live in or the town I'm from, but home is the little things too like being with family, making memories with the people I love most.
