A House is Not a Home

What is home? It is highly opinionated. But for me, home is not just bricks, glass and doors, It’s like a container of love and gratitude. Many of us Take home for granted. But we should remember Home isn’t just one thing. It’s a place of fun, hope and happiness. A place where you feel safe It’s a shield from harm, powered by family, love and traditions. A place where you are cared for. A house could be defined As the outline of a home, While home is a place Where you are protected, With happiness. With laughter. With fun. A place where yummy smells of food fills the house. Where laughs are shouting. Inside a home include many things: Family, food and comfort. There’s something for all five senses, Like my mom cooking up some delicious khow suey, The feeling of holding things that keep memories, The annoying sounds of my sisters crying, The sight of this beautifully decorated home, The smell of lunch, And dinner too! You could say That a house is pretty much the same thing as a home, But no, It is very different.
