What Home Means To Me

Home is a loving community. Home is comfort. Home is a fun place. Home is a place where when you are bored your family plays games with you. Home to me means a loving community, a place where I feel like I am safe. Home is where the people i love are. Like my mom, my dad, my brother, my nan, my pop and all of my aunts and uncles and all of my cousins. A place where I can joke, sing, dance, cry and nobody will judge me. Home is when me, my brother, my mom and my dad cuddle up in blankets and watch a movie. Home is a place where I can laugh, talk about things that need to be talked about, be angry at each other but know that we wont hurt anyone. Home is comfort. Like my bed, my Stuffies, and my nice cozy blanket I got for Christmas. Home is a roof on my head where I can stay warm and not get snowed on or rained on. Home is when I come home from dance and my mom has nice warm food ready for me. Home is in the afternoons after my 2 hours of dance and my mom sits down and i play with her hair. Home is a fun place. Like when we were eating supper and my brother farts. Like when we're playing a board game and someone moves the wrong person on purpose. Like when we are going camping in the camper and we're all sitting down eating chips while watching a movie. Home is a place where when you're bored your family plays bored games with me. Like some of the games we play a lot like kids against maturity, mouse trap, clue we also like game of life. Another thing we do when I'm bored is at nighttime I play with my moms hair. Like I get a spray bottle, a brush, a slick back brush, her curling brush and a claw clip. Another example is when I'm bored sometimes my mom and I bake something like chocolate chip cookies, muffins, cinnamon buns. That's what home means to me.
