The Meaning of Home

For me home is a place where you feel loved. It doesn't mean a house, it means somewhere you feel safe and loved. It can be things like school, your house and your friends house. It can be anyplace you feel safe. Sometimes it's a certain person who makes you feel loved and appreciated like a friend, a family member or a teacher. For me, I feel at home when hanging out with my cousin and hanging out with my best friend who is really nice to me. Of course that doesn't have to be everyone's pick but that's just the ones I pick. You can pick anyone that makes you feel safe, loved and appreciated. I feel most at home when I am with my best friend Thalia because she is super nice and kind. One of my favorite memories is when we went to the movies together, but before that we went to the dollar store and got so many snacks. It was so fun! We laughed a lot during the movie. We watched Zootopia 2 and we also got some popcorn because a movie isn't complete without popcorn. One of my favorite memories with my cousin is when I stayed at her house for I think about a week. It was so fun , we went swimming in her pool. We also got in the hot tub and she played music. We also stayed up late every night playing ROBLOX. I think the latest we stayed up was 8am. We watched the sunrise that morning, it was really pretty! The last place I feel most at home is with my cheer team. They are all so kind and always make me happy. Everyone deserves to be happy! All of them are so nice and positive. I'm so glad to have them as my friends and teammates. That is what home means to me. And no matter where or who you are, just know you deserve love. Home is a thing everyone has you just have to find who or where that home is.
