Meaning of Home

My home is like my family it has kept me warm from the winter storm and kept me safe from strong winds. I always feel really safe when I am at home. I have so many memories from my house it has been with me through thick and thin and I wouldn’t want it any other way it has been there for me on my bad days and my good days it has been their for my first steps and my first words. I love my home no matter if it is getting rusty or breaking down I will always love it.. To me home means a loving place that has been there for you or people you love or see all the time it doesn't have to be the one you grew up in it can be the one you left or the one you are saying a new hello to. Home means forever,home means family and friends. Home is full of memories like the time when I was a little kid and my siblings made box trolls and we fought with cardboard swords. For me home feels like a warm blanket that you can cuddle in. Home sounds like the dryer thumping up and down and making my parents run downstairs and move the piece of wood that makes the dryer steady. It smells like dumplings steaming from the pot. I love my home even though it is small or big. I remember when we had a dog named Mars and I was afraid of dogs but then we had to take him away because of our renovation but now I really miss him and I hope that he is with another family that can take good care of him.
