How my Home Makes Me Feel

My home is where I go every day to feel calm and relaxed. After a long day at school, I can go home and hang out with my dog and watch TV while I wait for my parents to get home from work. Home always makes me feel better. Some people think that a home is just a building where people live, but it is so much more than that; it is where memories are made, and families come together. My favourite memories are Christmas time and getting my dog! The comforts of my home, such as my parents cooking and my dog watching TV with me, make me feel happy and relaxed. My home is such an important part of my life that I cannot imagine not having it. I feel horrible for the people in need of a home, and I do not know where I would be without it. So at the end of the day, my home is my happy place.
