This is What Home Means to Me

My home is a place where I feel happy. Where I can feel safe and loved in my home. I love my family, my Mom will cook for me.I love waking up to the smell of a delicious meal which makes me feel loved. My dad will help me when life is tough. My brother is fun to be with and makes me feel safe. I have one more brother. He is 12 years older than me and he also makes me feel safe. They will always be there for me and I will be there for them. I love the school near my house.which is one of the places near my house. I love how I can walk to school so easily. I love when I hear rain. My house is not like any other. My home is a place where everyone is welcome. My school is a part of my neighbourhood and my community. My school is a place where I stay safe and helpful. Which makes me feel happy. TRADITIONS Another thing we do at my house is celebrate traditions. Some traditions I have are Halloween. My family loves how we can leave a candy bowl and nothing will be gone except a bar or two of chocolate. Christmas is another one I celebrate. I love to see my family during the holidays. We play with the gifts we receive. We get presents at my home and my Nana’s house which is a tradition that we do every year. That is what home truly means.
