What Home Means To Me
To me, home means family.
In my home I see the colorful, scratchy old rug on the brown wood living room floor and the old wooden dining table I eat at every night with my family. I also see my family, happy and laughing with my fluffy black and white cat, Minu purring joyfully at all the company. I see the turquoise walls of my room and my fish tank with my fish swimming happily inside.
In my home I hear my brother playing his light brown acoustic guitar upstairs in his room. I hear the soft bubbling sound of my fish tank and the swish swish of my beautiful fish's tail. I also hear my family talking, laughing and making friendly jokes at each other while eating a delicious homemade meal made by my mom. Sometimes I also hear my black and white cat Minu snoring soundly while he’s fast asleep.
In my home I smell my moms delicious homemade tomato sauce and sometimes my cat Minu’s tuna or chicken flavored cat food. I also smell my mom’s special incense on the mantle at the front door.
In my home I feel my soft warm blanket on my bed I crawl into every night and my cat Minu’s soft fluffy black and white fur coat. I also feel the warm embrace of my parents as they hug me. In my home I feel the cold wood floor of my house on my feet and I also feel the warm fluffy insides of my red and black pajamas.
In my home, in my heart I feel safe from all the dangerous things outside. I also in my heart feel loved and surrounded by the people who love me most of all.
