My home

Home isn't just a building. It's wherever you are with your family. To me home is me, mom, dad, and my sister playing board games. I hear laughter when I play board games. Home is eating with my family at a potluck. When I eat, the food smells different than other food. It smells unique to our home. At my home I like watching hockey with my family. When I watch hockey it gets really exciting sometimes. I feel like I'm at home playing on my rink. When I play hockey its super fun. I feel my gloves brushing against my fingers. After we get off the ice we have nice warm cups of hot chocolate with marshmallows inside. When I feel like I’m at home I am happy. Home is where I feel safe. Home is also my dog and my cat. I remember when I’m not at my house I’m still at home.
