You Have A Place to Call Home
Dear Friend,
You have a place to call home.
Let me tell you
what home means to me.
Home means that I get to experience warmth, love, and the hope of Jesus.
The aroma of freshly baked cookies, the feeling of just being around family.
At home my imperfections don’t matter.
Home is about family and how you feel when you’re with them,
The way it smells, the way it tastes, the way it looks...
it all makes a home.
You have a place to call home.
Home for all of us should hold:
forgiveness, mistakes, grace, love, and fresh starts for all.
It’s a place for curiosity to blossom.
A place to share ideas no matter how silly they sound.
A place for dreams to take off into the unknown.
It’s a place where your shattered dreams can be rebuilt.
A place to share doubts and learn who you are.
In my home, an echo of love fills every corner.
Friend, outside noise can be loud...
Cars, sirens.
Sad thoughts, lies.
But when you go inside your home and share your thoughts,
They are no longer stuck in your head.
Peaceful quietness should overtake the noise.
Lots of people have homes.
But just like a fingerprint, no two homes are the same.
Friend, you have a place to call home.
