What is Home?

Home is a place that makes you feel safe and loved and is a place where you don’t have to pretend to be someone you aren’t. Home can mean different things for different people all around the world. Home can be a place where you feel important and loved or a place where you want to hide away from the world. Home is a place where memories are made, some good, some bad. Scary moments can happen but they help your home feel more real and connected to you. Lots of people don’t have safe and secure homes to live in and I’m grateful for everything mine has given me. Home can be anywhere and anything from the sea to the sky. A house is just a place on a map but home is a place where you feel safe, where your family is, and where you can be yourself and get embraced for it. Home is a place where you should feel loved and safe and every person deserves a place to call home.
