What home is to me.

I remember a time when I wondered, “Where is home?” I thought it could be anywhere—my actual house, my grandmother's house, with my friends and family—it could be anywhere, but where is home? Where I call home is my warm cozy bed, my dad's amazing barbeque ribs and steak, and someone always having my back and taking care of me, also knowing that they will protect me when I'm in trouble. My home sounds like seagulls and crashing waves, smells like my mom's amazing candles, and looks like the ocean and the beautiful trees in the summer. Home is my warm and cozy sanctuary but where else do I call Home. Where I call home is Halifax and my family but also my friends and teams. I like my baseball team because they are kind of like my best friends during the summer, and also my gymnastics friends because they are like best friends all year round because we travel together and we compete together. That's what home is to me.
