Home

Home is special and fun but some people don’t have a home. Let me tell you about mine. Home is a peaceful and caring place for me. When I landed in Canada I was scared to go to a new school. I was so shy to speak English with my teacher, but my mom worked at the same school so I felt more confident. I was learning new things in my school. I was staying in someone’s house because we did not have a house. I missed my Indian food. My grandfather made really delicious food back in India. Halifax is my new home now. I want to stay here. This is my best life that I am so happy for here in Halifax. Halifax is my forever home. I hope that other people can have a place to call home like me. I am so very grateful.
