Home Isn't Just A Place

Home isn't just a place it's where you feel safe and loved. Home could be anywhere or anything as long as the people you love are there. My home is a place where everyone is welcome and there is never a dull moment. When you walk in the door all you can smell is the amazing smell from my kitchen where my mom and step dad cook and my family bakes and makes family dinners. If you go to my living room it's the place that my family goes to have movie nights and eat popcorn while laughing and on cold snowy days we cuddle up on the couch and sip hot chocolate. My dining room is where we have dinners with family and friends. We also play games and have people over to have fun, laugh, and play. And if you make your way up the stairs you will see my mom and step dad putting us to bed and saying goodnight. My dog is my favourite thing in the house. She makes sure everyone feels safe and welcomed, everyone that comes in my house loves her. Everyone that comes to my house wants to come back. My home is the place I feel safe and want to be.
