What Home is to Me

In the early morning, I wake up from my bed, grab my Pikachu, stretch, and run out of the bedroom, being scared of the dark. I go to the bathroom, and lie on the new couch that my parents bought recently. Here I stay for a few minutes, then go into the kitchen to brush my teeth. I eat my breakfast, do my homework, dress up for school, and sit on my iPad to pass the time. Once it’s time for school, I hop off the iPad and head to school. This is my routine, my start of the day, my comfort. Without my home, I wouldn’t be able to do this. After school, I go to the bathroom to wash my hands and sit down to eat a delicious meal. After eating, I go back to my iPad for a while. Then I go to eat again. Suddenly, I find myself wandering aimlessly like I’m trying to get some exercise. After half an hour or so, I find myself tired and sleepy. I hop in bed and find myself back in the morning for another day. This makes my home my safe space, my comfort spot, my stay-here-and-relax place.
