My Home

Have you ever thought about how thankful you are to have a home to live in? Have you ever thought about people who need homes like you do? Houses are places you can just live in. A house has no special meaning at all, but a home has a very special meaning. Every day the warm scents guide me home whatever emotion I have. When I am in my home, I feel like everyone is with me, even if no one is there. My home is the key to my heart. My home makes memories with my family, friends, and my pet. Some people can’t think about a safe place to live in. Home is a place you live in, but you can feel it every day. Even though it’s only my mom with me and my sister, she takes very good care of us. Home is where your journey begins. Some people think having a home is useless, and their parents or they could have used the money for something else. What they don’t know is that a home is where your future starts. A home makes your life better. A home does not have to have a spiral staircase or a big kitchen. You don’t even need to live in a house to live in a home. It could be a condo,apartment, castle, etc. To have a home, you need to feel like you belong. I am thankful for Habitat for Humanity, which makes houses for people who really need them. They are making sure that everyone has a safe place to live and they make everyone have a very bright future. Habitat for Humanity wants families to live in a very safe place.
