The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where I feel safe with my family. I am super grateful for my family because they are the reason I have a roof above my head, food on my table, family and so many more. I feel safe at my house because I get treated right and it's my comfort spot to go. One time at my old house we had to move for a lot of reasons so everyday when I came home from school I started to help out with my mom while she was struggling to find a new home to stay in. That's when it all started from that day up until this day everyday after school i go home and help my mom with chores she doesn't even ask me i just get going at it. I was helping so much my mom gave me a reward it was a puppy. His name is Hunter and I take care of him everyday. My mom told me I'm one of the reasons why we have what we have today. Sometimes I watch my siblings while my mom goes and picks up a few things in town. My mom even calls me little mother hen because I keep care of all my siblings and dog without being asked. I sometimes cook supper for my family for a surprise so my mom can rest she's always so proud of me, i always loved to bake and cook as a kid so every time i went to my nans to sleepover me and her would always bake cookies and cake and my papa showed me how to cook craft dinner and spaghetti. My family brings me lots of joy because of taco Tuesday, movie nights, baking, cooking homemade foods and lots more like going shopping, swimming, and many more. Having family quality time makes me feel happy because we all go have fun and brings memories9io.
