What is the meaning of home?

The meaning of home means a lot. It has memories like playing games with your family and learning new things. It’s a place where I can be myself not having to worry about what others are thinking and it’s a place where you feel comfortable and calm. When I used to live in my home back in India, I had tons of friends! I always knew where to go and had a lot of fun! But one day we had to move. I was so confused? Before I knew it, we were flying to Canada! It was freezing when we landed, I have never felt that cold before? The street was SO clean! Nobody honking, no street vendors? We came to this hotel and I felt weird. I was far away from the people I knew. All my friends and family left behind. I didn’t know anything there and when I went to school and thought people were going to stare at me for my accent. But soon I got used to all of this and became a Canadian citizen! Now I am happy that I got out of my habitat and explored. Even though I wake up every day knowing that I’m in Canada in my house, but home will always be in my heart. People all around the world go through things like this every day too! I thank habitat for humanity for giving people homes from all around the world!
