What home means to me

Home isn't just a place or somewhere you sleep, eat and live home is some where you love and make memories either sad memories or happy memories or even not good times, but I love my home I recently moved in 2025 it is hard leaving behind memories 2 days before I moved I had a house fire it was just me and my brother home alone then we smelt smoke we ran outside and asked for help that night was the worst night of my life we lost a lot of stuff but one thing we didn't lose was my family and memories it was hard living in a hotel for a few days but we got the house that now we will call home making new memories and making our home for years I am thankful I even have a house at all we are not really a lucky family I thought considering my mom having cancer 2 years ago and then a house fire but then I thought I am lucky i have a house and a family I was sad that all of this happened of course but I'm lucky I have a lot of toys from Christmas a family a bed to sleep on a room to myself cloths food clean water and stuff that other people don't have i am also so thankful for people giving us the stuff we needed through hard times and now from all this love and support I am happy I got a new house to make new memories and a new life with my family home isn't just a building home is with your loved ones like your family and friends and stuff you love thank you habitat for humanity thanks for reading.
