MEANING OF HOME

I used to think my home was in Burnaby where I used to live and play with my friends, I used to think that my home was in Chilliwack where I know live, but I was wrong because home is not just where your house stands it’s also where my family is, like my mom cooking delicious dinner so we could all eat or my dad making funny jokes about things that shouldn’t even be funny and my baby brother playing games with me and trying to talk, home isn’t just where my house is or where my head rests and I just eat to survive, home is where my family is and I can see that know, home is where my family is even if I do live in a house with my family it’s still my home because that’s where my family stands because a house when it’s empty isn’t a home, but a house filled with laughter and joy is a home like when I have movie nights with my family where we all laugh and are in blankets late at night or when we are all at the dinner table smelling the delicious food and talking about stories from our day that's home to me, so I think the meaning of home isn’t just where my house stands but where my family is because a empty house without laughter and joy or talking isn’t a home but just a house and habitat for humanity helped me see that so thank you so much for helping me figure out that home isn’t just a house but where my family is.
