Home is More Than You Think

A house might have everything, books, clothes, and more. You might think that it's perfect, but there's something that matters more. It's not the things inside, it's the feelings, the love, the people, that will stay by your side. When my heart is heavy, my dogs will make it light. They care for me, they worry for me. Whenever I'm out of their sight. When I'm at school, they sit, watching the cars go by. And when I get home, I can hear their happy crie! My family and friends mean everything to me. They keep me up, and sturdy like a tree. My house is a guard, its walls feel safe. I feel like I belong there. I belong in that place.
