My meaning of home

My meaning of home By Liam Major Home can mean a lot of things. Home to me is family. My older brother. Sure, he can be annoying, but that’s what makes him family. And my loving parents. This is family. Home to me is love. Home is not just a building. It could be the city you live in, the forest you live near or a place you like to go. When I think of home, I think of snow capped mountains. I think of snow, music and love. In my home, I smell the sweet smell of my mom’s famous pork tenderloin with apples and cinnamon. I hear the annoying rattling of our heat pump. I see our walnut tree with our swing and treehouse. This is the place where I feel warm and happy. I love playing music in my house. That is my meaning of home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for providing homes for families across Canada.
