My Home My Heart

A house is just a place on the map but a home is a specific safe place where you can feel safe and loved. If you go home to a pet who loves you, that feels good in your heart. When I go home, my dog helps me feel calm and loved. I feel happy when I see his tail wagging and when I sit down with him and rub his back, he always wants a belly rub. If you come home to a family member, that feels good as well because you know they love you. My mom talks to me and makes dinner and when we sit down to eat, I feel calm and know she cares about me. A house is a place with a roof, walls and some dirt but a home is a place where one can feel safe and surrounded by friends, family and pets who love them. My home makes me feel safe and loved by all my family and friends.
