The Importance Of Home

Home doesn't have to be a place with family; it's a place you feel welcomed, loved, and safe. My dance studio is a place I feel at home, even though it's not a house. One of the things that make up a home is the memories. Some of my favourite memories were made at my dance studio with my teammates, such as filming dances or having a Christmas party with our whole studio! It’s important to have a place that feels like home or a place that makes you feel safe and welcomed. When I first walked into my dance studio, I was nervous and a little scared, but now we are all super close, and that makes me feel at home. When I'm at my home or at the dance studio, we always look out for each other and are kind to each other, which makes all of us a little closer together. Home is made up of the little things, like doing little dances on our breaks or scaring our dance teachers with funny costumes, which makes laughter fill the room. My home isn't a fancy building or a huge house its a small dance studio with my best friends, whom I get to see almost every day. Being able to have a house or home or just a space that you feel fits you is important, and not everyone gets the privilege of having a home to go to.
