I Belong At My Home

I’ve belonged at my home since day one! I have been at my home for my whole life! My parents made it their home when they moved in! When people build houses they make a house, but when people move into those houses they make their home! When I came home I knew I belonged because it was already a home, but I made it my home as well! When I hear the word home, I think of how it always feels so warm and cozy! You should never feel unsafe or uncomfortable! I always feel like I can share my feelings, and while I share my feelings, my parents are always listening! I also think of my family and of course my pets! My dog Scarlett, is half Boston Terrier and half French bulldog, she has a scrunched up face I love most! When you say house, you might think of a building, or a shelter that keeps you dry! Which it is, but when you think of a home you think of all the memories inside that building! Yes, sometimes you have bad days, but in my house you will always be able to talk about it, and you will ALWAYS get through it! Most of the time we talk about our day around the dinner table! We always have delicious meals that my mom makes for me and my dad, and of course herself as well!! My family and I love games so at least once every two weeks we have a family game night! Home is all about memories but you can also make memories with your family! Because when someone says home I always think about my family! Which I have made a lot of memories with my family! Just like Escape rooms, vacations, mini putt, Activate, and so much more! A home doesn't have to be big, to be happy! Thank you Habitat for Humanity for Providing homes to people who need a little support! Thank you for reading what home means to me!
