What Home Means To Me

My home isn't just a building, it's where I feel safe, where love is always there and where people gather, laugh and smile. My home is my safe place. When I'm down everything changes when I walk in my house. There are always people with open arms to love me. Imagine you were inside sipping hot cocoa in a blanket by the fire with all the people you love. That's how I feel with my house. Whether I’m in a blanket or not, my house will always keep me warm with my favorite memories. My house might be a normal house but to me it is very special. It feels like when I'm in my house I’m in a bubble of protection. My house is made out of brick on the outside but for me it’s made out of love. Love that money can’t buy. On easy and rough days there are people and my dog who love me very much and support me and if it weren't for my family and my house I would be a lot different than I am now. I love my house from top to bottom and I am grateful for all that it gives me. I have the protection I need and the people who I love very much. I just want to say thanks to Habitat for Humanity and helping those in need.
