My Happy Place

Home isn’t just a building, it’s a big heart full of kindness, love, and care. Home has memories, memories that bring love and laughter. Home makes me feel safe when the wind blows hard, home is right there. Home isn’t only one place everywhere you go there is home no matter what. Home is somewhere to rest after a long day, when the smell of my moms special lasagna fills my nose it is like a little tap on the shoulder to tell me to go and sit to have fun with family. Home is something you can’t abandon home is the place you live or lived in even if you don’t like the house you live in it is still forever your home. Home is something I love. When there is rain falling on the roof of my home, I sit in front of the fireplace and think about how grateful I am for having a house to live in. The warmth of the blanket is like my house whispering “ I got you “. Picture this: My living room is like the place where me and my family sit down and play board games, tell jokes, and make memories. My cat is the furry one, whenever I feel sad my cat comes on my lap and fills me with joy. No other pet can help me feel better. In my bedroom me and my younger sister share what we did today while we make each other laugh. Home is a dream and a reward. The office is a place where me and my older brother play our two player games. It feels like we get to know each other better even though we are siblings. Home is the place where memories come, where we grow up with people we love and care about. Home is my happy place.
