What does home mean to you?

To me, home means many things. The first thing that comes to mind is how safe it is. In other words, how sheltered or enclosed you feel when you are at home. Another important thing is how comfortable it is. When you’re at home, you can just lay on the floor or sleep on the couch. It’s full of places you can melt into. The last thing is how private and untouched it feels. You can talk about or do things without others knowing. If you left for a long time, you can come home knowing that it’s the same as you left it. Home is somewhere I can be myself and feel safe.
