The Meaning of Home

What is the meaning of home to you? I think the meaning of home should warm your heart. I know it warms my heart just thinking about it. I have so much fun in my house and I have so many memories, happy ones and sad ones. My home is also where we gather for birthdays or goodbye parties. Home to me is being myself and to be who I want to be. Home to me is my happy place, it makes me feel safe. It also makes me feel safe when everyone gathers at my house because my whole family is there and I feel loved and cared for. It also is the only time my whole family is together because we usually just visit them separately, so it makes me happy to see everyone together. I also had so many memories and I'm talking about my old house we had had so many memories because we only just moved to Newfoundland. We have some funny memories like when I lost my tooth and it went down the sink or when my dog Milo went on the couch and made it covered in fur. We also have sad memories. When we woke up one morning we found my dog Sophie was lying on her bed frozen and we knew she had passed away. That was a sad memory. I also love that I can be myself at home like I can be crazy. I can also be myself by doing something and not being shy. I also like it that I can be anything I want to be like if I wanted to pretend to be a doctor or a builder or an engineer I can be those things and pretend to actually get to do those jobs. My mom and dad encourage me to try new things. I have so much fun at my house and I think I have the best family because they are always there for me and I just love them. My home means everything to me.
