What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where I feel love, safety, comfort, and kindness.
Home has all my loved ones. Home is also a place where I open and close doors and windows. It's where I feel me! Every word of mine is heard. Even if I get caught, it's fine. In my home I have a kitchen, a door, a room, a window, and a washroom. I watch movies with my family. Every single word comes from my heart. Even if we leave the house my family is still in my heart. When I cry they comfort me. It's where I feel warmth. At night in the darkness, in the morning the brightness doesn't matter as much as my family. If I wear something bad they don't really care they just be honest that's how I like it. It's where we eat meals and talk to each other. It's where they aren't mean to each other. It's where they feel themselves and I feel me. They love me. I love them. If they're crying I comfort them. If I'm crying they comfort me. Home is a place where I sleep on my bed with my stuffed animals and cover myself with a blanket. It's where I hug my family and stuffed animals. I love my home. When there's lightning I help my little sisters to tell them not to be scared. It's where we share. Even if we are small or big or big and small we always matter. If we need help we get it. No one should be scared because we are always there for you. If we are struggling no worries are here for a reason to help each other. When you're sad, we'll make that frown of yours upside down. When it's our birthday we feel loved as always. When I come back from school my little sister always runs to me and hugs me. Home is a place where I sleep and eat meals, listen to music and dance. Home is where I have play dates.
