The Meaning of Home

Home makes me feel safe and welcome. As soon as I walk in the front door, it is like someone giving me a big hug. Home is family, friends, my pets, and all the memories that go along with it and make it special. Firstly, my friends play a huge part in life. We are always hanging out with each other at my house in the kids’ room, downstairs. We have sleepovers and play fun games. Secondly, my awesome family. We are always laughing in my home. We have lots of funny moments together. My family always makes me feel safe and comfortable which makes home feel like home. Finally, my pets. When I am feeling sad, my pets are always there to comfort me, and they love to cuddle with me. I do everything with my dog ‘Scout’ and my two cats Nala and Stella. This is my home and it means the world to me!
