What Home Means To Me

Home is a place I feel comfortable and safe with. Home is my country, my province, my friends. My friends keep me happy, and they're my favorite people in the whole wide world, and something I am familiar with. Home is somewhere I belong, and can be myself. I belong in my country, my province, my city, and with my friends. I know that they will never judge me. Home can be a hug, a scent, a person, a feeling, and music. For me, the sound of an F1 car on track feels like home, because I always feel some sort of happiness and warmth wash over me. When I step onto a basketball court, a feeling, a feeling that feels like home, enters my body. A feeling that I will welcome with open arms. A house is just a building that means nothing, until a family moves in and makes it a home. A house has blank walls, a home has pictures in frames, that hold very special memories. A house is empty, a home is full. A house has no noise, no memories, but a home does. Thank you, Habitat For Humanity for building homes for people in need 👏😀
