What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where you don’t feel alone, a place where you feel loved, cherished, comforted, and welcomed. Someplace to come home to after a busy day at work, when I think of the word home, it makes me think of family, memories, and happiness. Home means a place of safety, and belonging, often tied to family, friends, and loved ones, where we can relax and be our authentic self.
A home is something so special, it is indescribable. It is not about the structure or the place or the house, but it is about feelings and important things like being with the people you love and great experiences and memories. A home should make you feel safe, loved, and special.
A home is a place of intimate fellowship, communion, and friendship. We bond and connect there on the deepest levels. The last layer of feeling at home is just the feeling of happiness, of being blessed and being at peace. Feeling at home means being fully known and loved.
