Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? It is a safe and comfortable place where I am loved. I love the smell of my mom cooking my favorite meals. When my dad comes home, he gives my sister and me a big hug and fills the house with even more happiness and laughter. When I am sick, I am cared for. I am always forgiven. We eat my mom’s fantastic meals together with love and happiness. Home isn’t just a place where I sleep; it is a place where I am always loved, safe, comfortable, forgiven, and cared for. At my house, we start the day by praying and end the day by praying. Thank Habitat for Humanity for helping millions of people to have a safe, happy and comfortable home.
