Home. The definition of home is a place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household. However, it can have different definitions, depending on each individual's perspective. “Home” can also be feelings. Maybe it's that feeling when you're opening presents with your family on Christmas day, while drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows in them. My home isn't just some walls and beams. My home is full of memories. My home is a reflection of me and my family's memories. Every brick has reminiscence, ever since I settled in. It's a place where you get loved and cherished. A memory that defines home for me is sitting on the couch, watching the Christmas lights and TV, me and my family laughing about a scene on the TV. The aroma of popcorn filling the room, while the sound of my family and me giggling echoed in my ear. At that moment I felt safe and loved. Home is the place I run back to every single time. It is more than just a place, it's a feeling of love, support, warmth and adoration. A house is made out of walls and beams, a home is made out of experiences, laughter and love.
