What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home isn’t just the place where I sleep. It’s where I go when the day is finally over. A home is full of things like memories. It is not big and it is not small, it is the right size for my family My home is full of love. There are a lot of places inside. The kitchen is full of yummy food. I love to watch my mom cook and sometimes I like to help her. The living room is full of laughter because we love to play games all together and talk about our day and the bedroom is quiet. But a house is dark and sad. A home would be nothing if there was no family. Family makes it feel like home. A home is a place where I feel happy, safe, loved and relaxed. When I don’t feel well I know I have a family that cares for me. Home is my favorite place. When I come home I feel happy. My home is a place that is very special to me. It has the people who I care deeply about, no matter what. My family is caring, funny, and always tries to cheer me up when I feel upset. A home does not have to look good or be big it just has to feel like home and when I am in my home I feel safe. My home is unique, one of a kind, and is my favorite place ever. There is no place like home!
