What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where you feel welcome, and a place where you feel safe. but to me home is anywhere as long as my family is there with me. At my home I … Smell My home smells like my mom and dad’s cooking, the plants all around my house, and my brother’s nasty diapers. Hear I hear my dad yelling at the hockey game or paw patrol playing on the TV, the noise of my brother’s playing dinosaurs, and the talks with family that make me stronger. See I see the family photos from all our family adventures; I see the smiles when we laugh, and I see the family dinners when all of us are eating except my two brothers who can never sit still. Taste At home I taste the delicious food that my family makes. Good and bad. And I taste the warm food that fills my belly. Feel/touch I feel the warm hugs, the love that fills the room and the constant I LOVE YOU’S that makes me feel the true love of family. And that’s what home means to me; it can be an apartment, a loft, a camper, a house or even a cabin. Your home can be anywhere as long as you have someone to share it with.
