Why I Love Home

Why my home is special to me is because I was born there. I have lots of great memories when I was a baby, toddler, kid and hopefully for the rest of my time there. My whole life is placed at home; Dad, Mom, my brother, and my pets are all there waiting for me to come to what we call home. I think every home has character of its own and mine has some too. It is about 50 years old and some of the original walls are still there, original paint and the hardwood floors too. Home is always familiar when I see it. I can never forget where it stands. When we are coming back from a vacation or a long time away my family and I look forward to being back at home. It is so calming to relax and sit down in one of the cozy chairs or couches in the rooms of my house. Love, warmth, and hope is always in the air in and out of my house and hopefully in others too. In my home my family and I have privacy and I’m thankful for it. I think that every home should have that. When I say welcome home, I think that that’s what a real home means. By Mabel
