The Meaning of Home

A house is not a home in many ways and not just spelling. There are many more differences, like how a home is your own home, not some random brick and mortar building that you saw last week. No, this is your home with memories and your family. Have you ever made an important memory in a house down the street? Well, I certainly have not. A house has a basement and a bedroom. A home has a basement where you watched the Hobbit with your dog, where you watched the Incredibles with your whole family. There is a bedroom where you read until three am and did not get caught. Where you were sick and then you got to stay home the next day. Because after every day you get to come back to your own home full of family and memories. Home is a place where you are happy, where you are heartbroken, and most of all home is a place where you are welcome.
