What Home Means To Me

Home means more than a roof and walls. Home is helping cook dinner. Home is my dad peeling onions and my eyes watering even from across the table. Home is girls night with makeup. Home is lipstick getting on my teeth. Home is watching movies at home on Saturdays. Home is snuggling with a nice warm soft blanket with my dogs climbing on top of me. Home is the pancakes sizzling on the stove. Home is the bacon fat slowly drying in the pan. Home is the arena. Home is the chalk coming off my leotard when I get home. Home is the cold frozen berries. Home is trying new flavors of smoothies. Home is going out in the hot tub. Home is the snowflakes falling and melting in the hot tub. Home is more than a house. Home is where I make memories. I love my home so much, it is the best home in the world.
