Home is Like a Warm, Cozy Blanket

Home is like a warm, cozy blanket because whenever I walk in, it’s like a burst of tranquility, love, support, and relief. Whatever happens in the outside world almost disappears when I walk in my home. No matter how big, small, cold, or warm my home is, if my family is there, it’s a place I can call home, because family is what makes a house a home. My favorite room in my home is the kitchen; I love the kitchen because it has so many good memories and meals. Sometimes my dad plays music and dances around me while we make dinner. When I’m with my dad, I know that I can be myself. I love my home because if I’ve had a bad day, I know that I can come home and talk, because my home is a safe place. My home holds good, and bad memories, but I know that however many bad moments happen, that we can overcome it. All in all, I think that every family deserves a happy place, a home, because home is like a warm, cozy, blanket.
