It's Not Just a House, It's a Home

Home is a place where you can feel safe and calm. When I walk into my house, I feel protected by my loving parents. In my house it’s me, my mom, my dad, and my silly brother. My kitchen is where my mom and dad cook my favourite delicious French toast. My living room is where we make memories about a bunch of fun and silly things. Home is a place to love to feel happy and make memories in! Sometimes people can be mean or nasty to you, but when you walk into your house all your sad thoughts go away because you know you can feel like yourself and feel like you are safe in your house, houses are strong and strong enough to protect you! Everyone deserves a home you can be yourself in and be warm in without a worry! I feel like I can be myself no one will be able to judge me in my house. Home is a place to feel happy and genuine, that’s why homes are so magical they can make you happy in an instant by doing some of your favourite things. Some things that make me happy is cuddling my cat, listening to music, drawing, or watching shows! Remember, home is your happy place, and you are lucky you have a home to be safe and secure. Love your house and be grateful for the roof over our heads to keep us safe. I love my house so should you respect your house with love!
