What Home Means to Me

Home to me is a place where you're happy and safe. Home is somewhere deep in your heart, deep down. It's where a lot of memories are made but not all. A safe place away from society. Somewhere you can be you and not be a fake version of you. You can say what you want, dress as you want, or be who you want. Home doesn’t mean a house, its where you feel you belong. Sometimes it's rocks, wilderness, forest, caves, etc. My home is with my family, blood or no blood. It’s who makes me feel loved and safe. I would die for them if I had to. So far They raised me with love and patience, even if my sister annoys me. But family isn’t blood, its loyalty and who you feel safe around and who you consider family.
