What Home Means to Me

Home isn’t just my home it’s the best place on earth. Home is the little, loving things. It’s my parents waking me up, and my dogs snuggling me in bed. It’s the smell of delicious food and the wonderful words my parents say to me. It’s my brother saying he doesn’t like me, but I know deep down in his heart that he loves me. Home is where I feel welcome and cosy. It’s the place where I am always safe and my family is safe. The crazy thing is, you can fight in your home and still be welcome. Sometimes me and my brother play together and get along but sometimes we fight. We actually like to fight a lot. But, even when we fight, we are still welcome and safe in our home. Home isn’t a house, it’s a family. It’s the people you see and hang out with. It’s places where you can go and the friends you can hang out with. and that’s why I love my family. I hear the cars on the road and I also hear the birds when they chirp and I can hear wonderful jokes that me and my brother tell. And that’s what special to me and that’s why my family is really special to me and I think home is just really important because it’s not like a home or a house it’s family, and friends that’s why I love my home and that’s why I’m always welcome in my house. I laugh smile, cry and that’s why I love my home. It makes me safe. Well, it makes me feel safe and happy and that’s my home that’s just so special and that makes home special, That’s what makes home special to me
